The Science of Mind teaching was  founded in 1926 by Dr. Ernest Holmes.

Our teaching is a spiritual philosophy that is a correlation of the laws of science, opinions of philosophy and revelations of religion, applied to human needs and the aspirations of man. The teachings are called the Science of Mind. The Center for Spiritual Living exists to facilitate the reawakening of each individual’s awareness of the higher self.

Each Center for Spiritual Living, through Sunday services, classes, seminars and individual counseling, provides a supportive environment enabling all who desire to discover the truth about themselves and the Spiritual Universe in which they live.

Science of Mind is not in opposition to any religious belief or philosophy. Rather, it seeks to bring to light the thread of Truth which exists in all religions.

We recognize that each individual is on a path to his own fulfillment and must be guided by his own inner voice. We offer practical and definite methods with which each individual can create positive life changes. Among the benefits of the teachings of Science of Mind is the understanding of affirmative prayer or spiritual mind healing. We refer to this as Spiritual Mind Treatment.

This teaching offers healing, spiritual understanding and an opportunity to experience greater love, greater joy and greater life expression. In the words of Dr. Ernest Holmes,
